 Your child’s overall health and well-being starts with routine exams and preventative care. This includes: physical exams, hearing and vision screenings, behavioral assessments, immunizations and other tests. The chart to the right is the recommended well-child care visits provided by the American Academy of Pediatrics. |

*If your child misses any of these vaccines at the designated ages, our doctors will determine when and if the child will need to make up the missed vaccines and get them back on schedule.

Depending on your child’s age and visit history with us, we recommend that you schedule in advance for:
- Newborn visits – 24-48 hours after discharge from hospital
- Adolescent/Teens – up to a year
Delaware Health Exam Requirements for Students
I. Based on the Delaware school system, children (below 18) who are:
- newly enrolled
- entering kindergarten
- entering 9th grade (Effective for 2013-2014 school year)
MUST have a health exam within 2 years of entry to school.
II. According to state regulations, the health exam form must be received within 30 days from the start of school.
